Ssagaji Inkwon

[(im)polite human rights] (very loosely translated)

NK rights, SK rights, human rights, free expression, and whatsits unexplored.

A mixture of the goofy and grim, Ssagaji Inkwon serves as a vehicle to express human rights-related thoughts in a quasi-artistic format, with the intention of bolstering awareness of current atrocities while inspiring action to eradicate them.  Although there is an emphasis on North Korean human rights and South Korean issues within the blog, Ssagaji Inkwon is interested in other movements as well.
Although Ssagaji Inkwon’s name translates loosely to “Mannerless Human Rights,” this title is about breaking the silence surrounding human rights issues.  To be clear, we are not encouraging rudeness.  Just boldness.
The posts are drawn heavily from the creator’s 3+ years of experience volunteering and organizing within the North Korean Human Rights movement in South Korea in a variety of capacities, with varying degrees of success.
